the look for less.

there are always ways to achieve a look that you are going for...even when your pockets may not be deep just may have to have a little creativity to accomplish it. i adore South of Market lights. but at this time in my life, it's not something i can justify spending my money on. i LOVE the kitchen kay douglass designed, owner of South of Market: an all white room that draws your eye immediately to the unique light fixtures. while out shopping, i spotted this amazing japanese bamboo basket that someone had turned into pendant lights. it had the natural feel and size that the SOM lights give off. all you would need to add is the rope to the cord (a quick trip to the hardware store) to really create the right feeling. and for a fraction of the price- viola- an amazing statement piece...
*if you are interested in these lights, let me know...and i can help you create "the look for less".
