then seeing where the things end up after being purchased from here! Averill from Odi et Amo gave the Greek lamp a fabulous new home...I am sure it is very happy on that beautiful rug and by that amazing chair (beats sitting in the attic)! the spot: the entryway of your house, a mudroom...."hooty" would be a perfect addition to any household...i mean, how can you not think he is cute?! owl umbrella stand...some imperfections which only make him cuter (retails for around $140)..17 1/2"H x 7 1/2" W
there are always ways to achieve a look that you are going for...even when your pockets may not be deep enough...you just may have to have a little creativity to accomplish it. i adore South of Market lights. but at this time in my life, it's not something i can justify spending my money on. i LOVE the kitchen kay douglass designed, owner of South of Market: an all white room that draws your eye immediately to the unique light fixtures. while out shopping, i spotted this amazing japanese bamboo basket that someone had turned into pendant lights. it had the natural feel and size that the SOM lights give off. all you would need to add is the rope to the cord (a quick trip to the hardware store) to really create the right feeling. and for a fraction of the price- viola- an amazing statement piece...
the spot: the inside of a closet, the closet doors, the back of a book shelf, a focal wall...this amazing Osborne and Little wallpaper will definitely provide some eye candy. one double roll (11 yds of paper) in a turquoise and silver scroll floral pattern.
