The Designer's Attic Instant Space

yay, it's friday so here's todays instant space!!  i'm thinking the guest bedroom needs some sprucing up....
so let's begin!  focal fabric is GP&Baker's Chinese Lady...she is really pretty and would work perfectly as euro shams (face fabric only, adding a coordinating linen on the backs).  you've got 1+ yd of it.
you've got some leg work to do on the bedding...we will need a beautiful ecru coverlet and a linen dust ruffle.

at the foot of the bed is a bench that needs to be reupholstered and this super high end cowtan and tout cut velvet will look amazing.  and yes it retails in the high $200's a yd.   you've got 2.5 yds of it.

our last step, one of our fav's- kelly wearstler's imperial trellis.  we will use this as a stationary roman shade for the window above the bed.  here's 1 yd to make it.   it looks amazing against our palladian blue walls!

TGIF!!  i'd be lying if i didn't say this is my favorite part of the week :)  here's is this week's offerings:

i think a kitchen nook would be fun for this "instant space"....yep serena's kitchen nook inspired me:

let's begin with the statement fabric: trina turk's super paradise in diftwood (retails for $112 a yd)...
3 yds will work perfect for a bench seat....and an added bonus- its a soft sunbrella fabric so grape jelly won't hurt this one :)

next we are going to need pillows...that's where schumacher/ decorator's walk's chevron print comes into play....3/4's of a yd will be good for a couple of accent pillows (using pattern as face only and backing them in a coordinating fabric).

i think we need a cute window treatment in here...something like this:
