thank you so much for your comments and prayers these last three days.  we were able to get back into the house and start the clean up process today, which gives us peace of mind.  it will be a long road but we are going to remain positive.  sadly, my home office was hit hard during the flood.  Hundreds of yards of fabrics and wallpaper are having to be thrown out b/c they are contaminated by flood water.  It's overwhelming but I have no doubt that this business will rebound quickly in the future.  Once we are settled and have taken care of our immediate needs, I promise to begin refunding orders.  Please email me if you have not receive your fabric from a previous order and in the subject line, write Refund Order or if you would prefer a credit write Credit Order.  I ask for your patience and prayers.  Much love and thank you for your loyal business, Shannon

  5. We lived on a barrier island for 21 years and evacuated for occasional hurricanes, not knowing if we would return to an intact home, a clean slab, or something in between. We gradually learned to appreciate what is most important in life: family, friends, memories. Cherish your family, be thankful they are safe, let go of the "stuff" you have lost, and you will emerge stronger and closer and will thrive going forward!

  7. IS THAT YOUR HOUSE!? I am so very sorry to hear about the flooding, and that you were among the affected. I am praying for peace and strength as you move forward. I remember thinking, when you sent me a few orders, how interesting it was that you lived in Columbia, as we have talked about moving there!!! Now I feel a special sadness to know how hard that pretty city has been hit! If you think of some way those of us far away can help, please let us know!!! All the best - Stephanie
